The Guangzhou Maritime Court is one of the maritime courts with the longest history in China, which was established on 1st June 1984. It is a special court which has jurisdiction over the sea area and the seaward inland river within the Guangdong province, including the shore areas and ports.

Introduction to Guangzhou Maritime Court


  The Report on Trials of Guangzhou Maritime Court is released every year since 2010. It mainly analyzes the cases of maritime disputes tried by this Court throughout the whole year, and offers advice and solutions from a legal perspective. It aims to regulate the order of the shipping market and promote the sound growth of the shipping industry.
